Waterfall with fountain in front of the large aquarium
Design and construction of a five-jet fountain and waterfall flowing down the front wall of the MegaGreen Shopping and Entertainment Center in Belgorod was performed by specialists of Aqua Logo Engineering.

The fountain-waterfall includes a number of unique technical solutions:
1. The company specialists designed and implemented the way of cantilever fastening of the reinforced concrete bowl to the existing building constructions.

2. The wall of the waterfall was made using polymer concrete technology, exactly repeating the color and texture of soft natural stone, which the customer liked, but is not suitable for outdoor installation at subzero temperatures.

3. For the first time in the technology of decorative polymer concrete works heating mats were used. This allowed us to work in the winter period and to provide uniform heating of the wall over the entire area and thickness, as well as to maintain the temperature necessary for the hydration of concrete around the clock.

4. Luminous letters, as if floating in front of a waterfall wall, combines the openwork of fasteners and the ability to withstand tremendous wind loads. Different in their properties materials: stainless steel, acrylic, metal composite, special types of glue let us create light, durable, weather- and water-resistant advertising structure, different from the already familiar multi-coloured letters of thin coloured plastic. Letters were milled from solid material blanks on an automatic milling line. At the same time a stainless backbone for the letters was manufactured at another plant. Absolute precision in making the designs in different factories was required - there was no time for fitting. And here is the culmination point. The letters with embedded fasteners had already met the power frame installed on the wall the night before at the construction site. Every single hole exactly matched!

5. The decorative lighting of the wall and fountains from conception to implementation was made by our company specialists. Interestingly, there is a myth among the visitors of the center, as if at night time in the water there are special paints, which makes the jets of fountains color. Of course, the water remains water, although it undergoes special cleaning procedures. And the amazing effect of colored jets is achieved by using special underwater lights and fine-tuning equipment.

Well, another interesting feature of the design is the technical room behind the wall of the waterfall. This is a service area not only for the fountain and waterfall, but also a large saltwater aquarium, also made by our company.
