Wolverine enclosure reconstructed in Moscow zoo
Moscow Zoo is 150 years old! On September 12, 2014, on the eve of the celebration of the anniversary of the Moscow Zoo, the reconstruction of the wolverine enclosure, carried out by us in the shortest possible time, was completed. The wolverine now not only looks clean and tidy - it is! The cage is designed so that the animals can live there comfortably and conveniently, and visitors can observe their life. Earlier the animals were in the shadow of the overhanging roof. They could hardly be seen because of the glare on the glass partition. Now the aviary is open from above, so it is well lit. And the electric fence, mounted along the perimeter, prevents the animals from escaping. All sight glasses were replaced with extremely reliable triplex, each plate weighing 400 kg. New plants and lawn were planted, decorations, fixtures and waterproofing were replaced. Check out the photo report from the event.
